Classy not Trashy….

Another one of my favourite lingerie stores is Agent Provocateur (FYI: Traditionally, an agent provocateur (plural: agents provocateurs, French  for “inciting agent(s)”) is a person employed by the police or other entity to act undercover to entice or provoke another person to commit an illegal act.)

They have everything from corsets and basques to bodies and playsuits. Their website is pretty comprehensive and you can shop online (which I love because I live in the most isolated city in the world) http://www.agentprovocateur.com

Their stuff is a little bit pricy but definately well worth it. One of my favourite purchases were some pariseanne hold ups which cost me a whopping (US$70) which is usualy a lot more then what I would pay for stockings but they are so pretty great for a night out paired with Louboutin heals. They are very durable too, I’ve worn them a few times and every stitch is still in place unlike all the other stockings I own.

 

 

Whats your secret?

I am 5″2 and normaly wear size 6 (UK/Aus) or size 0 (US) clothes but for some reason I’ve also been blessed with boobies. I have spent countless hours in many different shops, trying find the perfect bra. What constitutes a perfect bra you ask, well it needs to fit well, give great shape and be pretty because a good bra on the inside can do alot for your outside. Anyway I finally hit the jackport when I walked into my very first Victoria’s Secret Store in Soho, NYC.

It was the prettiest store, I had ever been to, with its pink change rooms and signature pink bags ( you probably would have guessed my favourite colour by now…) The lady that was helping me in the change was wonderful… I think for the first time in my life I actualy had a proper bra fitting. Did you know that your bra size depends on the style of the bra? So that means you could be a 30C in one style but a 30D in another… I did not know that until the nice lady in the change room fitted me for every style of bra I chose…. About 10 bras and countless number of knickers later I was one happy girl.

Unfortunately we do not have a Victoria’s Secret shop here in Perth, they do have an online store that ships overseas though but I much prefer trying my bras on before buying them. So everytime I am in NYC I go back to that same Victoria Secret store in Soho and buy bunch of stuff…

Victoria’s secret is also known for having some of the best fasion shows and the most gorgeous models. Some of my favourite Victoria secret models include Tyra Banks, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio,Anastasia Kuznetsova, Heidi Klum, Karolina Kurkova, Maryna Linchuk and Miranda Kerr( who is an aussie girl!!).
